Ringing for Peace - Armistice 100

Ringing Remembers Some 1400 bell ringers lost their lives during the First World War. In 2018, nationwide, we are hoping to recruit and teach 1400 new ringers to join in with the Armistice commemorations in November. The Wonston Bell Ringers therefore invite you to join them for:

An Open Afternoon on Saturday 9th June 2018 at Holy Trinity Church, Wonston (SO21 3LS) between 2pm and 4.30 pm.

Come and see how the bells are rung - meet the ringers - and have a go yourself if you wish. We provide experienced ringers and safe supervision!

Hear about our history and the future of our local towers: Wonston, Kings Worthy, Micheldever, Barton Stacey and Bullington.

MAKE A NOTE IN YOUR DIARIES NOW!

Alternatively, you could join us at one of our regular ringing sessions on a Saturday morning between 10am and 1130 am. It's very informal and you will be made very welcome.
